On January 15, Chris Greatwich, midfielder for Philippine National Football Team aka Philippine Azkals tweeted:

"can someone put together all our azkal best bits into a youtube video using tinie tempah's invincible as the track? prize if u can..." (Read: http://bit.ly/dHfNSL)

I wanted to win that prize whatever it is so I thought of trying my luck. I made a video out of the photos and videos I have downloaded from different sources. And then tweeted the link to Chris.

Yesterday, I kept on checking Twitter if Chris has announced additional winners. Turned out, he wasn't online the whole day. So I told myself to check again the next day.

At 7pm this evening, I checked on my Twitter and I was so happy to read a tweet from Chris! I took a snapshot of it to show it to you.

I am so happy and excited coz he's going to show it to the whole team and he's giving away shirts too. :)

It's the last day of 2010 and everybody are trying to put into one phrase/sentence how their 2010 was. Not to mention #2010was hash tag is trending in Twitter. As for me, my 2010 was a challenging year, it was like a roller-coaster ride. There were major major downs, times when I hit-rock-bottom. But there were ups also. My 2010 wasn't amazing but at least 2010 had been good to me despite some slight chaos. So yeah.

Procrastination at it's best.

I've been on hiatus for a long while. I won't say that I am back. Honestly, I don't know when I will be able to make an entry again after this one. This is what I call procrastination at it's best. You can also blame it on these five things: 1) Work, 2) Addiction to playing FIFA World Football Trivia, 3) Twitter, 4) Football, and 5) OBSESSION WITH CRISTIANO RONALDO. So yeah, these things keep me 'busy'. CRon baby! lol

ZIPLINE and 7 FALLS

My HS barkada and I went to Lake Sebu, South Cotabato and tried the highest zip line in S.E. Asia and take a look at Mother Nature at its best. It was breathtaking, beautiful, and a very unforgettable experience. We just conquered our fear of heights.

This is me and my best friend Nikki on the first zip line. It’s our turn! We were both excited and nervous. We were holding our hands and shouting our hearts out the whole time we we’re ‘flying’. On our way to the other end, there was a rainbow below us. It was amazing!

Behind us is one of the seven falls found in Lake Sebu. This is the most eye catching view you’ll see on the second zipline kasi nasa harap mo talaga sya.

After the second zipline, we went down to take a closer look at the falls (the one above). It was awe-inspiring; so impressive that we felt humbled and slightly afraid. It‘s actually not recommended to go to this part of the falls (where we were standing) kasi masyadong malapit na sa falls and maraming malalaking bato. Once you slip, you’ll be sorry. It wasn’t prohibited though so we still tried. We were all wet after. So much for going too close and risking our lives just so we can take pictures.

Ito yung spot kung saan dapat magpapicture and it is safer unlike the one above which was too risky.

This is in Punta Isla Resort where most people who visit Lake Sebu eat. The foods are delicious and at affordable prices. Our favorite is Chicharon Tilapia, their specialty and best seller. Also try Kinilaw na Tilapia and Pinaputok na Tilapia. Many well-known people come, visit and eat here such as Kim Chiu and Gerard Anderson, Former Pres. Fidel Ramos to name a few. And even those with royal blood go here, one of them is the very cute King Raboy (I just don’t know which country or tribe but I think he’s of a Mestizo-Muslim descent)

Who's your president?

Tomorrow’s the big day. We will again make history as we choose who will be the country’s 15^th President who will lead us and give us the HOPE and CHANGE that this country and its people need and deserve. As of this writing, it is 7 hours to go before May 10, Election Day. Have you decided who you are going to vote?

Last night, I went out with my high school friends. Among the group of 13, I was the only person who will not vote for Noy. I asked my best boy bud who at that time was wearing a black polo shirt with a Cory ribbon on the right hand side on why he is rooting for Noy. He answered, “Kasi he’s credible. Of all the presidential candidates, sya lang ang masasabi kong honest. For sure ayaw nyang masira ang image at pangalan ng pamilya nila lalo na ng parents nya. ” “Ang nakakainis lang kasi kay Noy minsan pag hindi nya alam ang gagawin, he turns to Kris to decide on what to do. Laging nasa likod si Kris,” my friend Kimmy, a Noy supporter, retorted. She also added, “ang sabi din ng iba about Mar Roxas, pag sya naging president o VP, ang asawa nya baka maging Imelda Marcos the Second.” I didn’t know what to say or how to react so I just kept quiet and listened to them. I thought nobody would ask me who I will vote until my friend Xarcee asked me.

Who will I vote? Gilberto “Gibo” C. Teodoro.

Why Gibo?

He may be under the Administration but I believe he will never be Arroyo’s puppet. Gibo is not GMA. It is so unfair that the people judge him just because he has worked for her. He has conviction, dignity and exudes political maturity. He has experiences both in legislative and executive offices in the government, as a Representative and Secretary of National Defense. He had always been focused on issues and concerns about the Philippines and not on the negative ones about his rivals. His platform of government is plausible, realistic and simple. His party-mates are deserting him but he has managed to run his campaign with honor, integrity, uprightness and he has kept his cool.

These reasons are personal and based on what I saw, heard, and read. I believe in him and I will cast my vote for this person, win or not. G1BO is my president and I hope yours too.

I also would like you to read this articles by Noemi Dado and Karen Davila on why they are rooting for Gibo. [1] [2] I hope that through this articles, you get to appreciate Gibo more and be persuaded to vote for him tomorrow.

What forums did to me was simple; they all suggested I vote Gibo, not for his well-thought answers, not for his beautiful speeches. But because he never had anything dirty to say against anyone and all that was committed to my memory was what my mom has always told us, in the fullness of your heart, your mouth speaks. Stepping on the weighing scale

Long overdue post. Haha!

Anyway, I was reading 12 Steps to Quitting AJ (by Faye Illogon) when my mom’s mobile phone rang. Since she was busy at the kitchen cooking for our media noche, I decided to read the message myself. I was surprised with what I have read. It was her co-teacher, professor in Natural Science and Physics, saying that we should observe the moon later that night because there will be an astronomical phenomenon that will occur known as “BLUE MOON.”

Night time came and my mom reminded me to look outside if what her co-teacher texted was true. I was amazed when I saw how the moon looked like. It was gigantic and very bright. I then took pictures of this “once in a blue moon” experience. This is history. Below are the pictures I took, my camera and my photography skills aren’t that good so forgive me with how the photos look like. :D At least I have something for keeps. :P

Christmas is about being with the ones we love. It's about celebrating the birth of Christ above. It isn't about the gifts that we receive but it's about showing love and kindness to people; that's what I believe. Even if you get no gifts, you still have your friends and family who love you. Wouldn't it be nice if it all turned out that way? Books lie to children for years while they're growing up. They tell them that life is perfect, it all works out in the end. But it doesn't, does it? Not always, but most of the time movies have a good guy and a bad guy. Does the bad guy ever win? Not very often. Directors want you to leave the theater with that happy feeling after seeing a good movie. Not the disappointed feeling when the main character is killed. We grow up thinking that everything will go our way. Getting whatever we want just because we have mom and dad who have a blessed wallet. Children don't think that someday they will have to buy their own food, support their own family, and work a little. There's nothing wrong with growing up this way that's the way it's supposed to be. But maybe if it wasn't so easy growing up, it wouldn't be such a slap in the face when reality sets in and all the sudden life isn't so perfect.
